With this review I am breaking two rules, first of all Puntology is not really a system and secondly I have only gone through about 20% of the content. Never the less I think it is so good I want to tell you about it now rather than wait for another 41 weeks.

Puntology is the brainchild of Michael Wilding who is an expert at assessing and comparing race horse ratings. Because of this skill he can spot value for money bets
and opportunities that most of us would miss. The basis of his success is the level of knowledge that he has on the subject. Now he has condensed that knowledge into 52 weekly instalments or lessons in which he passes this knowledge on.

Right from the first lesson you can start profiting from what you will learn on this course. I signed up for Puntology nearly 3 months ago and have received 11 instalments and I am already beginning to reap the benefits. Subscribers receive a lesson each week which includes up to 20 pages of well written and detailed information. One of Michaels aims is to give you enough knowledge and understanding to allow you to become serious amateur or even professional punter by the time you have completed the 52 modules. If the first 20% of the course is anything to go by this should be easily achievable for most people.

In addition to the lesson Michael sets a weekly (voluntary) assignment which for me this week is comparing the Official Rating on selected races with my own and the Racing Posts opinions. The purpose is to help the punter highlight value bets, something which up till now I have never really understood.

Because I am only 20% through the course myself I cannot tell you everything that you could learn by becoming a subscriber.  However,  future instalments promise to  show how to continually improve form reading abilities so you can constantly improve your ratings and increase your profits.

Following on from that, Puntology will explore some advanced strategies for taking your betting to the next level of profitability. Also Michael promises to show subscribers 4 simple things to do to “run” your betting campaign in less than an hour per day.

I suppose some people would have preferred Puntology to have been produced as one big ebook rather than 52 separate lessons. The trouble is this would have created a massive tome which few people would actually sit down and read from cover to cover. For me it is a bit like a giant salami sausage and there is only one way to eat that, slice by slice.

What I like about the course is that right from the first lesson you can start applying what you have learnt and profit from it. I also have one big tip for you, don’t just read the lessons off the screen, but print them off and save them because the lessons could become the most valuable reference source that you could have.
