Horse Racing Software
Computerized Horse Racing Systems are designed to make life easy for the horse race gambler. Rather than spending hours pouring over form books and past racing results you can find a selection at the press of a button. It is possible to feed vast quantities of data into a computer program and make its calculations and results accessible in a very short time. In fact it could be the lazy punters dream.
The true test of the effectiveness of any system whether it’s manual or computerized is does it work. I have yet to hear of any racing system that guarantees 100% success and I do not suppose I ever will. The truth is that in horse racing there are certain factors that cannot be easily foreseen which can affect the outcome of any horse race.
Using a computer to find winners
Horses are not machines, just like humans they have good and bad days. It is not unknown for horses to fall even in flat races. In a couple of national hunt races last season several of the horses actually took the wrong course. No human or computerized system can legislate for those kinds of events.
Other factors that can effect how a horse performs in a race include the state of the ground. Some horses race far better on one type of going such as good or good to firm than they would on soft going or vice versa. The distance of a race also has a bearing because although a horse may have run well over 6 furlongs there may be no guarantee that is going to be as effective over 7 furlongs or a mile.
At best computerized horse racing systems can be another tool in the punters armory to help him or her find winners. At worst they are a waste of money, and often quite a lot of money. At the end of the day it is going to be your considered opinion and judgment that is going to help you find race winners. By all means consider the information that your computerized program gives you but do not follow it advice blindly.
