Does anyone know of a decent horse racing betting system that works?

Hi, I’m basically searching for a good foolproof horse race betting system. I’ve lost money before but I’m sure there is a good system out there! (Preferably Betfair based as I have an account with them).

REad th reviews on this site. I am sure that you will find something that will meet your needs.

Anybody recomend any horse racing betting systems that have a good strike rate??

yep, have a bet on the first race of the chosen meeting, say a pound on the favourite of the first race, now if that favourite wins, just pick up your winnings and leave that meeting alone, if the favourite loses then double your bet on the favourite of the next race, again, if it wins then pick up your winnings and leave the meeting alone, if it loses then double your bet again and put it on the favourite of the next race and so on, you will not lose, have a look at the results for all meetings, it is very rare indeed that at least one favourite doesn’t win at least one race, well it’s a sure fire winner, try it and see. The above is an interesting but I believe misguided answer. If you go to a meeting with 6 races and the favourites lose the first 5 races your betting would be:P

1st Race £1 2nd Race £2 3rd race £4 4th race £8 5th Race £16

On th 6th race you would have to stake £32.. If the last favourite is odds on you may not even make a profit on the day. My advis eis to avoid any system that involves doubling up.

Is there someone out there that is good in excel that is interested in horse racing system?

I am looking for a serious person that likes to gamble that is somewhat familiar with Stats and Excel that is willing to create a Trifecta System. I’ve had modest success and need to create a program to test my theories. Serious inquires only.

I am very good at Excel. Check out some of my past answers if you like. I have also bet sometimes on the doggies back in early 90′s when I lived in Wichita Kansas. Haven’t bet on races since. I bet on a few horse races over the years but financials don’t really allow it any more! Anyway, I’m ready for a challenge. Email me. Regards, QwertyKPH

I actually work for a horseacing info service and I can tell you honestly not to waste your money on get rich quick systems. Horseracing is a matter of educated guessing combined with luck, no one has a crystal ball no matter what they try to tell you. My advice is to go to a book store and pick up a good handicapping book and learn the fundamentals yourself. Tom Ainslie wrote a good one, it is older but is filled with basic fundamentals that hold true today. I give my expert picks on a daily basis and while I am pretty good at it and can give 75% winners on a daily basis (based on my best 3 picks per race), I am never 100%. Don’t waste money on these schemes you see, get some education.

The above response is interesting nd I agree with th comment to avoid get rich quick systems. The only people who get rich with these are the people who sell them.However, I do believe that it is possible to develop winning horse racing systems. Most of the successful systems that I have encountered are based not on form ( something which is notoriously unreliable) but statistics.

At the moment I would recommend that you take a look at the Dodgy Favourites review

on this web site. This has been sucessful for me. To get a better knowledge I would also

recomend False Favourites which is not so much a system as a definative guide for any interested

in making money from horse racing. At less than £20 it is also excellent value.

Where can I find past UK horse racing results and form?

I am starting to work out a horse racing system. However, to develop the system I need as much historic race data as I can find. I need the same sort of data that is available to punters prior to a race with the final result. Ideally it would be in a .TXT format which is easy to input into my computer program. I am sure it must be on the web somewhere.

The Racing Post website carries all the ionformation you will need, with results dating back to the early nineties and some even earlier. http://www.racingpost.co.uk You will need to register on the site but it is free. You can search on a variety of criteria: horse, date of race, course the race was held at, name of race, etc. I work in the industry and use the site on a daily basis. Hope that helps.

I am trying to find out if someone is currently using a horse racing system that works in Australia. If so what are they and how much.
If you mean a betting system that always wins, there’s no such thing.
