Betfair Renegade – A Review
Betfair Renegade is a horse race betting system devised by Neil Spencer. It is the product of a two year study of past results and promises the user a good return for your investment.
In the sales letter for this system, Neil who describes himself as the Renegade Punter, hence the title makes some big claims. For instance he says that he has made in excess of £60,000 in the last 5 months and that he has had over 30 consecutive winning weeks in a row. Also in the sales letter he states that in his best year he made nearly a quarter of a million pounds in winnings.
My natural reaction to such claims is to dismiss them out of hand. To be honest I am still not convinced about the likely hood of anyone getting to those levels of return. However, when a copy of Betfair Renegade landed on my desk I felt it was worth looking at. To my surprise it looks very promising.The system is presented in an 11 page e-book although the actual system can be broken down into 6 simple filters.
Betfair Renegade is an actual laying system which can be applied to the flat, all weather or national hunt races. All of the 6 filters appear to be logical and appropriate although there is one point that I personally do not like. Nigel gives a maximum sp price that should apply and this he suggests you take from the Sporting Life web sites live shows. However we know that a horse with a sp price of say 10/1 can be almost double that on the exchanges. As you are going to be laying the horse on the exchanges I would have thought that that would be the more relevant price.
So that for me is the downside but despite my reservations I do think it could be a basically sound system and I have seen a lot worse than this on the market. If it works and past results suggest that it will this could be one to be added to the portfolio. I intend to test it fully in the next month or so and would suggest anyone who buys this system does the same but it could just be a winner.
