Horse Racing System Review

The Wizard of Odds

Wizard of odds

This system comes from Peter Blake who devised the very successful Dutching Diamond subsystem. Unlike the Dutching Diamond in which you have to back three horses in one race to get a profit, The Wizard of Odds system involves backing just the one horse in carefully selected races.

There is an extra additional cost to implement this system and that is that you will have to buy a copy of the Racing Post from Monday to Saturday to get the information that you need to work the system. I found that it can take some time to work through all the filters and apply Peter’s Race Rating Formula.

Our initial test results have been somewhat inconclusive and showed a small loss. For me I do not think that this is a system
That I shall be adding to my portfolio but others might like to give it a try.

Russell Gibbs Personal Advice Service

If you are looking for a straight forward advice service then you may be interested in the latest offering from Sports world Publishing. They have joined up with former race horse owner and commission agent to offer a regular daily tipping service.russell gibbs

Sports world claim that Russell’s involvement in the inner circles of horse racing have helped catapult him into a different league as a bettor. It enabled him to make contact with jockeys, trainers, owners and other stable contacts. Add to this an encyclopedic knowledge of racing and you have a very formidable gambler with more bookies letters canceling accounts than you can throw a stick at. Russell lives and breathes horses, when he speaks it is as if he knows all the horses personally and is on first name terms with them.

The service has been running for some time apparently and is now being opened up to a wider audience. Each day there is a morning message with the planned bets for the day. On most days Russell travels to a course where he may come across additional information. If there are any additional bets you will be alerted to them by text message. Likewise if the morning selections are available early and an early price needs getting you will be texted and asked to ring the line earlier. The telephone message will not be premium rate and the texts will all be free. Most late information will be win or each way bets. Usually the lay bets are decided in the morning and do not vary.

I was pleased to see that his lay bets seem to be concentrated on low priced horses and the recorded results are impressive. This is not a cheap service £95 per month but there is an offer in which you can try a month for half price just to see how it goes. For just £47.50 this could be worth trying.

I have just heard from Russell Gibbs and this is what he says
“With the poor weather and shortage of meetings tipping has been challenging, however, here are my backing results so far for December. 14 selections with 5 winners and 5 placed, just 4 losing bets. With the advised doubles a profit at advised prices of £174 to £10 stakes. This is in addition to his successful lays.”

We will keep watching this service with interest.

The No 1 Lay System

Posted on October 20th, 2010 in Horse Racing System Reviews by admin

No 1 Lay systemThis is an interesting system developed by Derek Nadin. As the name suggests it is designed to find lay bets in All Weather races. There are 11 filters to be applied using this method and the success rate is impressive. During our early test phase we had 11 consecutive successful lays.

However, my main concern with this system is that Derek suggests maximum odds of 17.0. This means that to make a profit you are going to have a success rate over 90%. In our test the average odds of the lay bets was just under 9.0 which was not too bad but even so this is definitely a system for the brave hearted.
